På min IBM R51 er det internt bluetooth  som er koblet til USB
så du kan prøve

 sudo  lsusb -v | less

og bladre i output.

ja , de 2  dongle's jeg har købt virker også. Man skal vist være temmelig
uheldig at finde en der ikke virker med linux.

Nu har jeg ikke btscanner installeret, så jeg skal ikke kunne sige
om fejlmeldingen betyder du ikke har bluetooth i T41 eller om der
er andre årsager.

Den finder ikke noget hos mig heller, selvom jeg har bluetooth,
men lshw leder måske ikke efter USB devices.
