Hejsa.

Vi havde i NJLUG generalforsamling for nogen tid siden. Vi fik den gode
ide, at lave et stort cluster i Danmark i den weekend, hvor UNIX fylder
1000³ sek.

Ideen gik på, at man rundt omkring i de forskellige lugger skal sætte så
mange maskiner op i et cluster. De forskellige luggers clusters
forbindes så eventuelt via forskningsnettets netværk.

Hvis der er interesse for et sådanne arrangement, skal vi nok snart
igang med det praktiske. Der er forslag om at oprette et særskilt
domæne, www.ldkc.net eller www.ldkc.dk ( ldkc = LinuxDK Cluster ).

Det kunne være fedt, om folk var med på ideen. Tænk at skab en dansk
supercomputer. Det ville ligeledes vise en masse om kernen i de danske
lugger og linuxverdenen generelt, nemlig samarbejdet.

P.S. Jeg undskylder at bruge denne liste til dette lidt OT. Det er dog
min overbevisning , at det er den liste flest mennesker rundt omkring
læser. Ligeledes har vi i NJLUG forsøgt at trænge i gennem på luggernes
fælles mailingliste, men der kom aldrig noget svar.
