Køre maskinen på et lokalnet og får tildelt ip-adresse via en
dhcp-server? Hvis så kan det være at den tid som du får tildelt
ip-adressen er så kort at der bliver skiftet mens du surfer - eller af
dhcp-serveren ikke har adresser nok til at dele ud af hele tiden fordi
der er formange personer der benytter serveren.

Dette vil kunne, i heldigste tilfælde, kunne besvares af ovenstående,
men ellers hænger de ikke sammen. Der mens du bruger ip-nummeret aktivt
ikke skiftes ip-adresse, men når du skifter fil og der er en pause, kan
du skifte ip-adresse og der kan forekommer et tidsrum hvor du faktisk
ikke har noget aktivt netværk.
