Der er en (kort) udredning fra Alan Cox. Som jeg læser det, handler det (naturligvis) om at RedHat bliver nødt til at patentere for at undgå at andre gør det (altså, patenterer deres ideer). Han skriver at der kommer en redegørelse fra RedHat snart.

Øhm... det er da noget vrøvl - hvis RedHat har brugt en idé, har de jo prier art og den kan derfor ikke patenteres af andre ..


Eller er nyhedskriteriet forsvundet fuldstændigt fra sagsbehandlingen i USA ?

Så er begrundelsen for patenter jo ikke længere til stede, da den ikke fremmer inovation, men monopoliserer gamle idéer ???
